If you (or your loved one) are dying, I would be honored to walk with you through this sacred process. I offer non-medical emotional, and spiritual support. I will visit you at your chair/bedside and can also provide support for your loved ones. Sessions are conducted face-to-face for 45-60 minutes. Generally, hospice patients who are still alert enjoy food or goodies, which I can bring. Sessions may include easy/light conversation, heavier family/life review, spiritual beliefs about death and the afterlife, and prayer.
I would be honored to be present for the 11th-hour of your life. I bring a peaceful, calming presence and can help your family better understand what is happening. I can also provide volunteer chaplain services to ensure the room is filled with peace and prayer.
Family dynamics can be complicated to navigate in the best of times but can get exaggerated during stressful periods. Professionally, I am skilled in the art of dealing with people sensitively and effectively. I understand family dynamics and can help facilitate family discussions while advocating for you or your dying loved one.
Based on my research and work with Catholic Cemeteries and Funeral Homes, I am considered an expert on Catholic end-of-life planning options. I can help you think through your options and provide input on the Church's teachings. I can also connect you to professionals who handle the paperwork while continuing to be your advocate during this often stressful process.
For my hospice practice, I developed a document that contains information on most funeral homes in the DFW area. I can help explain the options and pricing presented on their websites or brochures.
